Daniel Matl is a Houston native and Flintrock’s Senior Estimator. He graduated from Smithville High School.

In 1997, he moved to Austin to start his own general contracting business with his brothers.

Daniel has 13 years of experience as a field engineer and assistant superintendent, two years as a superintendent, and 26 years as an estimator and project manager. With 41 years in the industry, he is an expert in commercial construction.

Since joining us, Daniel has been involved in and has taken on leadership roles in many areas. His vast experience in hospitality, education, government facilities, airports, laboratories, and detention centers has made him a crucial component in the Flintrock machine.

Daniel is a member of the NRA and enjoys hunting and fishing. He spends as much time as he can with his wife and two daughters.

His attention to detail, willingness to coach and calm demeanor make him a wonderful part of our Austin crew.
